Simple Fall Styling

As the fall air slowly starts to creep in, this is when we start craving some changes in our environment. Fall is my favorite season of the and although it is still warm in Texas, I can already feel the cool air in the morning which makes me feel like cozying up at home, getting my sweaters and jackets out, having tea, and baking pumpkin muffins. I’m not into the Halloween decorations but I think it is fun to make little changes around the home to welcome the new season. In the fall I like to bring in more of the nature inside the home, incorporate darker colors, and add lots of texture. Minimal changes like adding a couple new throw pillows and blankets or switching the floral arrangements throughout the house makes everything warmer and cozy - plus you don’t need to break the bank! Here is a roundup of my current favorite fall home decor items.

  1. Adding a cozy throw blanket is a must for the chilly season and this one is so soft and warm giving some nice texture.

  2. Bring more nature in by adding some wooden tones throughout the home. This live-edge vase is really unique and has such a beautiful organic shape.

  3. I love this brand! ESAS candles provide a clean burn while delivering rich, aromatic scents that are free of harmful chemicals. They offer a beautiful, toxin-free way to bring warmth and fragrance into your home. For the the fall season, try the “Pumpkin & Vanilla Home Scenting Bundle”.

  4. Ideally it is nice to bring fall branches from the nature outside into our home, but for those who don’t have them around, there are some beautiful faux botanicals and this Eucalyptus Nicoly bunch is just the right amount of red tone to add to your fall decor.

  5. This is another faux botanical branch that adds a great fall feel to any space. As simple as adding one or two branches in a large vase will make a beautiful statement.

  6. Amber Lewis did it again. Her latest book “Call It Home” not only has the most amazing designs in every single page but the book cover itself has that beautiful dark brown and it will add a warmer touch to your decor tying all the other dark colors together.

  7. This unique decorative ceramic bowl with contrast motifs will add some warmth and character to a coffee table or a console.

  8. If you are thinking about adding some new fall color pillows to your sofa but you can’t decide which color and pattern to pick from, West Elm has a pillow set that comes with a three-pillow combo in beautiful fall colors so you don’t have to spend time searching for it!

  9. This textured vessel has an antique look to it and it will sure make a statement in any room. Place it in the center of a dining or coffee table with some branches and you will elevate your fall decor!

  10. Baskets are a great way to add texture, warmth, and nature feel into any space. They are also functional as you can store throw blankets, books, and other items laying around.
